Network Engineer IV

• Data networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, Optical Transport)

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Extensive knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols

• Extensive knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology

• Extensive knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.

• Extensive knowledge of basic network devices and basic network appliances

• In-depth knowledge of firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point).

• -Experience with security certification standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST). -

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation in testing. -

• Familiarity with network protocols ( BGP, HTTP, Multicast, DNS, etc.) and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec).

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and performance tuning. -

• Knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
