Data networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, Optical Transport)
Ability to work in a team environment
Extensive knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols
Extensive knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
Extensive knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Extensive knowledge of basic network devices and basic network appliances
In-depth knowledge of firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
-Experience with security certification standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST). -
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation in testing. -
Familiarity with network protocols ( BGP, HTTP, Multicast, DNS, etc.) and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec).
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and performance tuning. -
Knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
